Thank you for the award! / Blogger reconigition award..

Hello, welcome back to my blog, I would just like to say a huge thank you for all the positive feedback and support, I received on my last post. It’s great! I am happy to announce I have been nominated for the Blogger recognition award. I am extremely happy as my blog is still fairly new and I have been trying to release more content this year. This award is great as it’s so nice to see bloggers acknowledging and supporting each other. It also helps with exposure, so a win win either way!

So, how did my blog start? I have always loved writing, I wanted to be a journalist from the age of 10-11. I decided to start a blog as I wanted to share my views and opinions with the world and make everything a bit more ‘Golden’. I find blogging very fun and it also calms me down after a long day at university or work. I am going to write a post on ‘5 reasons you should start a blog’ which will also include advice to new bloggers, but if I had to give one piece of advice right now, it would be “just do it! You don’t have anything to lose”!

Calling all bloggers, I decided to pry myself away from Love Island (I am obsessed) for at least 2 minutes, to make a Facebook group for bloggers, the group is called Share Blogger Magic or SBM. I only have ten members at the moment so if you want somewhere to let your hair down, share your blog posts or tips and social media links, please join the club! It’s open to anyone. Thank you to TeeShares for nominating me and my child The Golden Perspective Blog. TeeShares is a New Zealand-based lifestyle blogger. Check this blog out as there are some amazing personal posts on her blog, my favourites include Letter to My Dad and Say NO To Fear – Top 10 Tips

Get the red carpet ready, I have hand picked 15 other bloggers from different categories. Categories : Beauty and fashion, Travel, Food / Recipes and Lifestyle. Make sure you check them out, they are fantastic!

And the nominees are..

  1. Wow, thanks so much for your kind words.

I have already done the award here – https://beccapbeauty.wordpress.com/2016/07/20/blogger-recognition-award/

Be it over a year ago!

My advice these days is that blogging is a hobby, it’s something that we all do because we enjoy it and we shouldn’t treat it as a job and get ourselves down if things don’t go to plan.

We should be realistic with our blog posts, I personally find posting three posts a week is reasonable for me but if I’m not able to post that many I won’t beat myself up about it.

Thanks again for the nomination and take care.
